Well, I thought this was going to be a year without hurricanes headed in our direction.  I guess I was wrong.  It appears that Ida is heading toward me...direct path, unless she makes that move east at the end like they say she might.  Even with the turn, it will be a day of high winds and rain.  Let me just say that after staying at home when Katrina hit, I'm not upset over this...but I will never underestimate the power of a hurricane!!!  The part that really bothers me is that we might have to miss a day of work.  Granted I need time to catch up on work and class assignments, however I don't want to make up the day with a day from Thanksgiving week.
