Bits
I'm just a country girl from down south, with a love for God, books, dreaming, and being creative. I have a fondness for all things 80s, an eclectic taste in music and a passion for dogs, photography and writing. I like to spend time surfing the web, reading and oddly enough, cutting the grass. I hope you will find something interesting, wacky or creative enough to make you want to sit and visit for a while.

Thursday Thirteen #39

13 things that I need to do before summer vacation is over!
  1. Finish writing curriculum. DONE!
  2. Buy a new camera.
  3. Clean the flowers beds and plant the flowers I bought. (FINISHED ONE OF THEM)
  4. Fill the holes we still have after FEMA moved the trees.
  5. Go through all my CDs. DONE--Over 100 CDs gone...so much more room!
  6. Put the flag holder back on the shed.
  7. Take car to the shop for oil change, alignment and the "recall" problem. Made an appointment.
  8. Create a new background and header for blog....clean it up a little!  DONE--Hope you like it!
  9. Paint the front porch.
  10. Read at least two books that have nothing to do with school.
  11. Help with the floor replacement!  Yea!  No carpet!
  12. Clean out all closets, cabinets & drawers---get organized.  STARTED--not finished
  13. Give someone that works for the oil companies a  weekly budget, and they have to pay for their own gas!  Let's see how they like it!   Just kidding, but thought it would be educational for them and satisfying for me!

How industrious you are! My goal is to break 90 golfing. Your stuff is probably more attainable!

Quite a list you got there! Oh, and I'm going to buy a camera by the end of the summer, too. What are you looking at right now?

Thanks for stopping by! Happy TT...and God bless!

Yeah, that's about how I feel: some things are finished, some are in progress, and some are still waiting for me.

Good thing summer's still got a ways to go.

That's an impressive list! You sound motivated. Good for you! Love the blog look.

Hey, cool! Looks like you are well on your way to getting through your summer list. The first one looked like the worst one to me...and I always try to do the worst/hardest/most tedious job first so that the others just seem like a breeze and the pressure is off. I guess that's part of the magic of priotizing, huh? duh. =) Sometimes I just type and don't think enough, but that's an improvement b/c I used to think too much and never say a word.

Thanks for stopping by and fare thee well with the rest of your list!

Cleaning closets and getting organized was on my Summer To Do list, too. But now that summer is here, I don't feel like doing it. It sounds like a good winter project.

Great list, mine is up at 13 Not So Famous Last Words; Most Americans die peacefully in their beds, but for those who die violently one can only guess what their final words must have been. I think that after you read these you will have to agree that they do indeed sound like they might have been the last words of those who did not go peacefully into the night.

We seem so similar in a passion for God and teaching. It's nice to meet you, and I'm glad you got that curriculum work done; phew! I did the same thing June 18 and 19. Now we have the rest of the summer to get everything else accomplished!
