13 random thoughts about this week!
I couldn't think of anything else!
- I have meeting for the next two days.....yea!...out of the classroom!
- I love the smiles that I got from my students on the first day after Thanksgiving break!
- I bought an iDOG....and it's just adorable!
- I like the Christmas song on the JCPenney commercial.
- I haven't done any Christmas shopping! urgh!!!! This is not a good thing.
- I feel asleep last night at 6.....at first it was great, but then I started tossing and turning at 2 this morning!
- My favorite decorations are snowmen, so I have them in my classroom and at home! My dog barks at the ones that sing.
- The milk chocolate covered nutter butter cookies are NOT as good as the original.
- COLD....I am ready for colder weather. It was 75 degrees today....that is not the weather you want for the winter holidays. A cold front is coming....should get some colder weather!
- Since it's getting cold, I can wrap up in my favorite blanket this weekend!
- I always want to get a haircut about this time of year.....I don't know why!
- I got an angry note from a parent today complaining about an office referral (truly his fault)......why did I only hear from her when it's something she doesn't like. Never have gotten a thank you for the free tutoring, phone calls or chances to redo work! Hummm!
- I have not idea what to get my students for Christmas......affordable is the key!

I so almost bought an iDog as well...but I thought it might be annoying...is it?

This has been the hardest year I have ever had. My principal has decided to break up what we are calling the "thug" factor in my room and place two of the worst offenders in other classrooms. All I have to do is buy my teammates new cars. :) She realizes that no one is accomplishing because of the discipline issues. My girls are also crazy, but I think with two of the worst offenders gone, I might be able to break the worst of the girls' bad behavior.
Good luck to you. I'll keep coming back to check on you. You do the same.
Thanks for stopping by my "Horrifying" 13! :)
